So this week motherhood gave me a swift kick in the booty in the form of hives, fevers, ear infections, and what I will forever refer to as Pukefest 2008. As I type, all three of my troopers are sleeping off what what I think may have been the bubonic plague. Caleb's ear infection was discovered on Monday along with Braxton's allergic reaction to pineapple. Caleb's fever broke on Wednesday and we have yet to see the end of Braxton's hives. They come and go and he's not at all bothered by them, so no worries there. But I do plan on taking him back in on Monday if they haven't disappeared (I know my pediatrician will be THRILLED to see us twice in 7 days). Braxton doesn't seem to be suffering from the stomach bug anymore (and I'm not certain his symptoms were not unrelated to the allergy) but Caleb is still having some trouble in the diaper department (but no more puking!). Stevie...poor Stevie. He's a mess. Last I heard from him, he was going upstairs to write his will. As for me, I've spent the last 12 hours willing myself immune to this beast of a virus. I've probably chanted "I WILL not get sick...I CAN not get sick...I AM NOT SICK" about a thousand times. So far despite the nausea, it's working, but I don't know how much more will power I have left. So I'm praying that this is just a 24 hour bug and that we can go back to our normal lives tomorrow. So...since you've all endured this less than pleasant post, I'll give you pictures since I know that's what you want anyway:)These are from Grandma and Grandpa's visit last week. We had a fantastic time!
