Friday evening we took a family trip to Collina's for dinner. As we sat down at our table after waiting at the door for about 15 minutes, a woman walked over to us and said "I see you have two brand new babies. Congratulations! My husband and I would like to buy your dinner." She placed $25 on our table, patted me on the back and left the restaurant. I've never seen nor spoken to this woman in my life! I was speechless (I managed to say thank you, of course). I don't know if this sort of thing happens to people all the time, but I know it's never happened to me. It served as a reminder to me that no matter how much ugly and wrong-doing there is in the world, there are still genuinely good people out there who do good deeds just because. I want to be one of those people.
