It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of someone who has grown very dear to our family over the past few months. Although he will be missed terribly, I believe we all knew that it was just his time to go. He will always hold a special place in our hearts and the space he occupied in our home will never be quite the same. We laid him to rest around 9:30 last night, fully adorned in his bulbs and garland -he would have wanted it that way. This morning I confirmed that he had indeed been picked up and taken to his final resting place wherever that may be. Four months he gave us, parched, neglected, swept over, but never did he complain. He just stood quietly and waited on the day we would put him out of his prolonged misery. Yesterday was that day. We love you Mr. Christmas Tree. Thanks for the memories.

   I'm so broken up. I'm glad I was informed before my visit. I'll have to pull myself together, I would'nt want the boys to see me upset!!
