Our Little Men

Here are a couple of pictures of the boys in case you guys forgot what they looked like. They're getting way too big, way too fast.

Caleb

Braxton...and I have no idea what those tetris blocks are on the corners of this picture. Kind of creepy.

Enjoy your day!

FINALLY!

Christmas pictures as promised.

Angela, have you given that poor girl her make-up yet?

We thought Santa's real identity remained a secret to the boys until he said his final ho ho ho's and goodbyes and the boys responded "Bye-Bye Paw Paw!"

Thought This Was Funny

I read this on another twin mom's blog and I think she pretty much nailed it.

The rules of a toddler

If it is on, I must turn it off.
If it is off, I must turn it on.
If it is folded, I must unfold it.
If it is not food, it must be tasted.
If it IS food, it must not be tasted.
If it is a liquid, it must be spilled.
If it is a solid, it must be thrown.
If it is high, it must be reached.
If it is shelved, it must be removed.
If it is plugged, it must be unplugged.
If it is closed, it must be opened.
If it does not open, it must be screamed at.
If it is full, it will be more interesting emptied.
If it is empty, it will be more interesting full.
If it has a flat surface, it must be banged upon.
If Mommy's hands are full, I must be carried.
If Mommy wants to carry me, I must walk alone.
If it is a car seat, it must be protested with arched back.
If it is dry, it must be made wet with drool, milk, or toilet water.
And finally the defining trifecta:
If it is yours it must be mine.
If it ever was mine, it must still be mine.
If it looks like something that was once mine, it must be mine.

Have a great day!

Saturday at the Park

Just a couple of pictures. And I promise I haven't forgotten to post Christmas pictures- there are just so many to sort through!
Caleb refuses to go down the slide. This is his little fake-out move. As soon as I took the picture he turned around and ran across the bridge.

Caleb jumped out of this tree but luckily Daddy was there to catch him (phew!).

Those little LIPS!

Shirts are for sissies.

Forgot this one

I came across this as I was trying to remember what the boys looked like with hair. I think he looks dreamy.

Happy Thursday!

Not much to share at the moment. We've been stuck inside due to the icky weather conditions (what was up with the snow?) so our days have been filled with lots of stories, fort-building, bathroom and kitchen exploration (Braxton climbed into the bathtub after turning on the water), silly songs, and indoor playdates. The boys are just being the boys; toddling around, yelling with excitement at EVERYTHING, kissing, hugging and hitting each other (and themselves), stealing toys, learning tons (they can correctly identify two letters and 1 number each!), and just being cute. Contrary to what many of my fellow twin moms have led me to believe, I am really enjoying this age. They keep us super busy, but they're a blast to hang out with. About a month and a half ago as they were struggling through their frustration of not walking, perpetually snotty, and cutting their canine teeth, I was just about ready to have my tubes tied. But we survived and they're back to being the little bundles of joy they always have been (so can you tie ONE tube?). Good thing cause potty training and "terrible two's" are knocking at our door...eek!

OH, I almost forgot. We had our first 9-1-1 call! Apparently, Caleb felt he was in grave danger here as he was playing in his pop-up tent. I noticed a voice coming from my locked phone and sure enough, this lady's asking "what is your emergency". Isn't it a little early for the pranks guys?

This was taken at our M.O.M.'s (Mothers of multiples) holiday party. Not to brag, but our boys were two of the very few children that didn't cry on Santa and the Mrs.' lap.

Um, I don't know.

Such a poser!

Introducing Braxton and Caleb 2.0

note: This is Steven. Larami wanted to post this but she couldn't because she was too busy crying.

We took the boys to get actual haircuts today. They did way better than we thought they would. Larami on the otherhand, did not. Check out the cuts:
