We all survived! We headed for San Antonio on the Thursday before the storm hit and stayed put for the next 10 days. Thank God we never had to go a day without power (ours was restored on Friday of last week). Despite the circumstances, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay...well, aside from the countless hours a certain someone spent trying to make the boys say Grandma instead of Paw-Paw (seriously....HOURS). It became the theme of the entire trip. She even had total strangers shouting "GRAND ma, GRAND ma" at them while they stared blankly and repeated "Paw-Paw?". I'm pretty sure the boys know exactly what they're doing. They probably joked about it as soon as we laid them down for their naps, high-fiving and so on. Little buggers. Here are a few pictures from our visit. And thank you for being our FEMA during the storm:).
